Background of the study

Church Growth is a movement within evangelical Christianity that is focused on establishing techniques to expand churches based on business marketing practices. The goal of this movement is to increase the number of people attending evangelical churches. It is certain that young people play an important part in the life of a church since they are the leaders of tomorrow and the future of the church, and this fact alone makes their significance indisputable. The old are noticeable, but the contributions made by young people have been shining and have always been the standard bearers of every Church (AZkya, 2022). The participation of young people must be substantial in the process of development in any Christian community if there is to be any discernible progress in that community. This is one of the primary reasons why states, countries, groups, and organizations place a greater emphasis on the education of young people: to ensure that the return on such investments will never be uncertain or speculative in the future (Argyle, 2021). In light of this, it is of the utmost need for the Catholic Church to diligently educate young people for the responsibilities that they will unavoidably take on in the years to come. Only when we have fostered the growth of our younger generations will they be able to contribute to the expansion of the church. The questions that need to be answered are, "How much attention do we offer the young people, and how much dedication do the young people provide to the church?"

It would be terribly unjust to deny that today's young people have very high aspirations, and to do so would be an insult to their intelligence. However, we are obligated to acknowledge that these ideas may often become tainted, can be twisted, and can be abused. Young people often give up their ideas in the end if they have reason to believe that the situation is hopeless or if they come to the conclusion that their values can never be achieved anywhere. The unfortunate reality is that this is how things often play out in modern times. While people's ideals are dashed, they frequently sink to depths even lower than those they denounced when their idealism was at its peak. This is what happens when people are let down. In places where this does not occur, values are open to exploitation by those who portray themselves as false prophets of good. Young people might be inspired to make such incredible sacrifices by the fundamentalists who are far apart from the totality of the truth. In spite of this, the Orthodox Church, which holds the whole Truth, is having a hard time retaining her younger members. This is especially true of women (Durkheim, 2020). It is possible that by ignoring the high ideals and potential moral heroism of our young people, we have failed to familiarize them with our examples of such heroism, displayed by our own young, even the very young, who loved Christ and His Church in previous eras. If this is the case, then our failure would be a result of our ignoring the high ideals and potential moral heroism of our young people. The younger generations are an essential component of the social fabric. Is it possible for there to be a society devoid of young people? Obviously not, and this is precisely why we need to work hard to ensure that our young people are given the leadership roles that belong to them in the church (Azimi,2021).

It is not the case that church development comes before church health; rather, the order is reversed. We can tell that healthy things flourish through observing nature. Although this is not a novel idea by any stretch of the imagination, it does hold true today. As a result of this study, we will learn what characteristics define a healthy church and how the lifestyle choices of young people may contribute to the expansion of existing churches.
